Handmade in the UK, the contemporary dog portrait is digitally designed from your photo, then each of the 9 miniature portraits is meticulously cut and collaged using coloured fine art paper and acid-free glue to create a textured surface. The techniques used turn Andy Warhols’s Pop Art ethos on its head as the artwork is painstakingly hand crafted rather than mass reproduced. The 9 individual portraits within the artwork are set against contrasting bold coloured square backgrounds and form a 3×3 square grid. Portraits are signed on the back.

Custom Dog Illustration Size

This ‘Large Unmounted’ custom pop art dog papercut portrait measures approximately 21 x 21cm (8.25 x 8.25 inches). A ‘Large Mounted’ option is also available with a white card matte (border). The ‘Large Mounted’ option including a simple white card matte measures approximately 30 x 30cm (11.8 x 11.8 inches).

How to Order A Pop Art Dog Portrait

First place your order (selecting mounted or unmounted option), then provide a good quality digital photo of your pet via email to imagineattic@outlook.com. The best photos to work with are close ups with lots of facial detail and light. Don’t worry about the background in the photo or cropping as I will edit the design to produce a flat colour background. If you are unsure of the suitability of a photo, please feel free to contact me before ordering.

Current turnaround times for custom-made orders is 3-4 weeks (in addition to delivery time from Liverpool, UK). If your order is urgent, please let me know and if I have availability, I will prioritise your item.

Postage and Packaging

Free UK postage via Royal Mail Signed For Delivery. USA shipping is also available. Custom dog portraits are dispatched in a protective wrap and a strong cardboard-backed envelope.
